It is now eight days since the election and four days since the media declared that Biden had won Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes thus giving him the election.
The petulant man-child in the White House continues to whine about voting irregularities and election fraud with no evidence to back up his charges.
It's unclear what his motives are since the only thing his lawyers have managed to get are tongue lashings from judges.
Whether Trump and company are going to try and pull something drastic, whether this is simple salve on his hurt or whether he's managing to raise a lot of money over this phony issue is unclear.
I'm beginning to think it's the money. According to one report he is soliciting funds from supporters to help fight the election results but a fair amount of that money is paying off existing campaign debts and some of it may simply be going into Trump's pockets.
It's pretty obvious that he will never concede and will always claim he really won but was a victim of election fraud even though there is no evidence of any fraud. You know, just like he continues to claim he would have won the popular vote in 2016 if it wasn't for fraud.
That doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is the number of Republican leaders who are going along with this. Whether it's because they're terrified of Trump's supporters turning against them in a primary or because it's the path of least resistance is also unclear.
The Republican party is disgracing itself by showing that's it's made up of cowards and sycophants.
