The lawsuit by Republican Mike Kelly in Pennsylvania claiming is that the extensions to mail-in voting instituted by Act 77 required a constitutional amendment and not just an act of the legislature found a judge to listen.
Commonwealth Court judge Patricia McCullough issued an order halting all certification procedures. It's unclear what this means as the presidential election and most local elections have already been certified.
It's also about six months past the deadline set by the legislature for challenging the law. Can you spell "laches?"
But even if the courts decides the act is unconstitutional, it seems unlikely they would disenfranchise voters who followed the law in good faith.
But this is Trump and company's strategy. Keep throwing lawsuits at the courts until they find a really stupid, or corrupt, judge.
Apparently they found one.
