Bergen county went down by about 13.8%. This is sort of interesting. I guess we'll have to see what happens next week.

I get to see the dentist today. The shower door is fixed. I get to see my surgeon next Tuesday to find out how my CAT scan looked. It would be nice if that spot was gone. The power generator folks say they're coming at 7:30 AM next Wednesday, That will be a little over five months since we ordered it.

The number of national cases went down another 12.6%. That's a ba.2 variant. Last week I said b2. It's here and is rapidly becoming widespread in New Jersey so it's only a matter of time before it spreads to the rest of the country.

Bergen county went up again. This time by a pretty big 23.4%. The first two days of this indicate this will probably continue. I suppose this is ba.2.

The hose on the kitchen sink broke and the towel rod on the outside of the shower door brook off. I had a plumber replace the hose and I ordered the wrong part (of course) for the shower door. I ordered the right part and have to get around to sending the wrong part back to Amazon.

Our taxes are done so I'm really broke now.

The Ukraine

Russia invaded the Ukraine a couple of weeks ago. I haven't said anything about it because I don't know what to say.

Apparently the Russians were expecting to be welcomed with open arms or have a easy time of it.

Neither turned out to be the case and things are pretty nasty. That's what war usually turns out to be.

Incredibly a number of right wing types here are supporting the invasion. Tucker Carlson and Michelle Bachmann and a few crazy pastors come to mind. Trump initially seemed to support Putin as well but apparently got a whiff of the wind and now sounds like he's changed his mind.

Just another mess the world will have to iron out.

Bergen county actually went up by 7.5%. This is the first increase in nine weeks. The first two days of this week though look good for both the state and county.

Dentist found a cavity under a crown which he's going to work on today. The physical was pretty easy and it turns out I'm not due for a colonoscopy until next October. Hell, I could be dead by then.

I sold my Giants PSLs. So after 52 years I am no longer a Giants season ticket holder.

Dentist is tomorrow, CAT scan is Saturday and physical is Monday, yuck.

Bergen county had a decent drop of 17.3% and is about where it was in July.

Still debating about my Giants tickets. So much for my car behaving. I went out Sunday and the battery was dead. I had it towed to Subaru who checked and the battery was bad. This is the second failed battery in this car. My terror month has begun. I have dentist, physical, CAT scan and then in early April back to the surgeon and probably a colonoscopy somewhere in the not too distant future.

Just to add to the chaos, yesterday the belt on my bike fell off. This is the third time but I managed to get it back on fairly easily this time.
