Well, it could have been worse. They could have gotten the language "sexual sins tear at the fabric of society" in the GOP plank but they didn't.
Basically a couple of thousand old white people yearning for a fictional "good old days" decided to call for treatments that attempt to turn gay people straight.
This is despite all professional psychological and psychiatric associations in the US saying that not only is this treatment ineffective, it has the potential to be harmful.
Another example of the ignorance and arrogance of conservative Christians. That goes along with hateful and bigoted to make conservative Christianity one of the most repulsive philosophies on the planet.
If Jesus could only see what they've done.
I do not understand how anyone with an ounce or more of integrity and an IQ above 90 can vote Republican.
