It's been six days since the last one of these I did and you can see things are pretty bad.
Recently there's a lot of talk about the virus "slowing down" but it's not that obvious. The rate of increase in new cases appears to be slowing but how much of that is real and how much is due to testing limits is hard to say.
Getting food deliveries is beginning to be almost impossible from local grocery stores. You can get food from Amazon but it's taking two to three weeks. Same for over the counter meds.
The prices have jumped significantly for some stuff. I bought six cans of soup for about $10 which I thought was a tad high but when I went back to maybe order more the price had jumped to almost $24. That's $4 a can.
Masks when you go out are now "recommended" which says we should all wear them. I have a couple and I've got some on order but who knows if they'll be effective?
