Feel free to form your own opinions. Everyone does. All I ask is that you try to first get all the facts straight.
Hey, no one is perfect. I'm as guilty of selective reasoning as anyone else. We all tend to form our ideas based upon emotions and then proceed to find reasons why those ideas are correct.
But, and this is the big but, when you are faced with clear evidence that says maybe, just maybe, you're wrong, you have to accept that.
At the very least you need to accept the facts as they exist and if you can't sustain your position in light of those facts, you have to give it up.
Majorie Holstein, a conservative activist opposing the Common Core standards, is reported to be of the opinion that the Common Core sex education standards contain material so graphic they violate obscenity laws in some states.
There's only one problem; Common Core doesn't contain any sex education standards. So, if that is her opinion, I think it's safe to say it's a tad inaccurate.
