Despite some significant opposition, especially from the Catholic Church, France became the 14th country today to legalize gay marriage by a vote of 331-225 in the lower house of the National Assembly.
The law also allows gay couples to adopt children.
Can you hear the walls crumbling? Can you hear Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia calling for cement and trowel to shore it back up?
