Chris Christie, the governor of New Jersey, has decided to drop his appeal of the legalization of same sex marriage in the state.
After the New Jersey Supreme Court's unanimous refusal to grant a stay and the broad hints in that decision that there wasn't a snow ball's chance in hell of Christie winning that appeal plus the general euphoria in the state from local politicians to the Bergen Record saying "It's about time," all I have to say is:
