The numbers continue to come down although there is some concern that the Trump administration and a decrease in testing have something to do with that. I'm not aware of any evidence to that effect though.

New Jersey was again flat last week. It's week after Labor Day and, at least so far, there's no obvious impact. The big jump I noticed last week turned out to be a mistake that was subsequently corrected.

Bergen County Cases and Percentage Increase
March 30 - April 5 -- 4,018, 185.2%
April 6 - April 12 ---- 3,597, 58.1%
April 13 - April 19 --  2,855, 29.2%

Aug 3 -  Aug 9     --     273,  1.3%
Aug 10 - Aug 16  --     401,  1.9%
Aug 17 - Aug 23  --     131,  0.6% Dashboard New Cases = 234
Aug 24 - Aug 30  --    231,  1.1% Dashboard New Cases = 261
Aug 31 - Sep 6     ---   231,  1.1% Dashboard New Cases = 253
Sep  7 - Sep 13     ---   178,  0.8% Dashboard New Cases = 244

Again the Dashboard New Cases is higher than the subtraction. I would say it's due to previously unassigned cases being assigned except there are days there the Dashboard New Cases is LOWER. I don't know what to make of this.

One daughter is back teaching and the other has started a new job. It's in New Jersey so at least she's no longer going to the city every day. We have informed our gym to freeze our memberships. We're not ready to return. They'll hold the memberships frozen until the end of the year.
