Gee, two months since I bothered to write anything. I have two excuses.
The first is my "w" key is dead (or almost dead) on my laptop so writing anything is annoying. I have a remove keyboard off to the side and have to reach over for a "w."
The second is I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3.
Anyway, Trump has been indicted multiple times and there is a stirring of efforts to get him banned from being on the ballot. I don't see that working because he hasn't been convicted of anything yet.
In the meantime he is clearly going to win the Republican nomination and polls show him tied or even slightly ahead of Biden for the general election. I find this utterly absurd. All I can say is that people get the government they deserve.
In Washington the Republican House can't seem to get their act together for a spending bill and if they don't do something we'll have a government shutdown at the end of next week. Oh goodie.
October is shaping up as a bad month for me with multiple trips to multiple doctors including the big CT Scan to check for lung cancer. Oh well, we all have to die of something.
I'll try to spend a little more attention to the old blog just for the hell of it going forward.
